Patriots win CIF championship game from the Warriors

Woodbridge 1, Beckman 4:  The Warriors (19-12) were unable to upset the Patriots (25-6) for the CIF Southern Section Division 3 championship Thursday evening at Dodger Stadium.

  

But, even with the loss, their CIF run through the playoffs has captured the imagination of the Woodbridge fans as they made their way to the first CIF championship game in school history.  Game summary.

It has been a great season for the Warriors.  Congratulations on being CIF Runners-up to Head Coach Tim Murray, each of his assistant coaches, and to every member of the team, particularly the seniors who came up through tough times as a freshman class to help build the team to the competitive level that they finished the year at.
