Welcome to 2011 Woodbridge Baseball


Welcome to our 2011 Warriors Baseball website.
  
2011 Warriors Varsity Baseball Team (click for full size)Our website is intended to connect the community with our athletes and their accomplishments as well as to provide athletes and parents with statistics and other information needed throughout the year for our sport.  We think it is functional, easy to use, and contains practically everything needed to be informed about the program.
  
  
The website includes News, Schedules, Rosters, Announcements, and Photos
  
In order to protect the privacy of our athletes, you will now need to Login to view the photos, videos, and athlete profiles of the website.  This will require you to register for a new login account, even if you previously registered on our first website because we are using a different technology than before. 
  
It is easy to set up.  Simply go to the User Login section below the left-side menus to "Create new account" and follow the instructions.  Once we validate your identity, you will be notified that you are activated and you can Login.  Note that only students/athletes, parents, coaches, and school administrators are eligible for a login account.

Horth, Wylly, Leitao, and Smith make baseball award teams

Horth, Wylly named to All-County baseball teams


Congrats to Brandon Horth who was named 1st team All-County in baseball.
  
Also, congrats to Ben Wylly who was named to the 3rd team All-County team.

Matt Budgell picked by Mets in 10th round


Congrats to Matt Budgell who was drafted Tuesday in the 10th round (#312 pick overall) by the New York Mets

Patriots win CIF championship game from the Warriors


Warrior senior Matt Budgell celebrates after having scored against Beckman in the CIF-SS Championship game  (photo by Kevin Sullivan, Orange County Register)Woodbridge 1, Beckman 4:  The Warriors (19-12) were unable to upset the Patriots (25-6) for the CIF Southern Section Division 3 championship Thursday evening at Dodger Stadium.
  
But, even with the loss, their CIF run through the playoffs has captured the imagination of the Woodbridge fans as they made their way to the first CIF championship game in school history.  Game summary.  
  
  
  
  
  
  
It has been a great season for the Warriors.  Congratulations on being CIF Runners-up to Head Coach Tim Murray, each of his assistant coaches, and to every member of the team, particularly the seniors who came up through tough times as a freshman class to help build the team to the competitive level that they finished the year at.
